- NISPAL, CASPAR in Smith's Canada, etc. he is listed in New Aberdeen in 1851. He is not in the 1857-8 directory. The 1851 census places him in Waterloo Township, born in Germany, aged 47.

According to original church records from Samuel Weicker Caspar Nispel is listed as buried there.
"The German Evangelical Lutheran/ Congregation in Strassburg". The founding Pastor was Reverend W.Schular who led/ the congregation when it was first organized in 1844. The church building was a log/ structure and it was built in 1847-48. The cemetery was officially established/ in 1850, although a few burials took place on the site prior to that date. In April/ 1893, the Strassburg congregation decided to join the St.James Lutheran Church/ (located 4 miles to the west in the Village of Mannheim). The church which was/ located in the higher area on the east side of this site was dismantled in 1905./ Listed below are the names of those believed to be buried in the cemetery. This/ information was obtained from Samuel Weicker, from his translation of the original/ church documents.
