  Samuel Hodgkiss PRESTON— Samuel Hodgkiss, 81, of 930 Eagle St. North, Preston, died yesterday at his home following an eight-week illness. Mr. Hodgkiss, was born at Staffordshire, England. He had resided here for about 40 years, coming from Blair. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. He was the last surviving member of his family. Mr. Hodgkiss was a son of the late Benjamin and Sarah Hodgkiss. He was predeceased by his wife the former Mary Cox, in 1941. The body will be at the home where the funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Dennis Ewald, a grandson, curate at St. John's church, will officiate. Committal service will be to Park awn memorial chapcl. Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 27 Oct 1961 pg 5
