    • Louis C. Gillow

      PRESTON, Louis C. Gillow of 102 Grandview Rd. died at South Waterloo Hospital, today. He was 89. He was born in Preston, was a toolmaker and had been employed at Clare Brothers Ltd., until retiring a few years ago. He was affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Caroline Grosz, in 1968. Surviving are one son, Bertram of Galt; one daughter, Mrs. Ben (Dorothy) Thrush of Owen Sound; four sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Anne) Love, Mrs. Roy (Emma ) Letson, both of Preston, Mrs. Charles (Beatrice) Glass of Kitchener and Mrs. Harry (Rose) Schmidt in California, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The body is at Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where service will be conducted, Sunday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston cemetery.
