    • Mrs. George Rodger

      PRESTON, Mrs. George Rodger, 73, of 838 Queen Street, Preston, died early today at the Coutts Pavilion, Freeport. Mrs. Rodger was horn in London and lived here for the last 38 years. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Independent Order, Daughters of the Empire. Mrs. Rodger was predeceased by her husband in 1941. Surviving are three sons, Orme Rodger of Val D' Or, Que.; James Tait of Burbank, Calif.: Percy West of Preston; five daughters, Miss Marjorie Rodger of Preston, Miss Marion Tait of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Mrs. Murray (Helen) MacPherson of Puslinch: Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Clemens of Preston; Mrs. David (Ruth) Watson, RR 3, Guelph; one brother and one sister in England, and 17 grandchildren. The body is at H. K. Stager Funeral Home where the funeral will he held Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Preston Cemetery, Rev. A. H. Vair will officiate.
