    • Mrs. Melinda Schroeder

      PRESTON - Mrs. Melinda (Maude) Schroeder, a life-long resident of Preston, died today at the Fairview Mennonite Home. She was 83. The former Melinda Kleinsteuber, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She was predeceased by her husband, August Schroeder in 1930. Surviving are one son, Harry of Preston; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Alma) Ehrhardt of Hespeler; a brother, Harry Pfeiffer of Preston; a sister, Mrs. William (Annie) Johnston of Hespeler, and three grandchildren. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home after 2: 30 p.m. Wednesday where funeral and committal services will be conducted at 2: 30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Preston cemetery.
