  THOMAS RIDGE PRESTON. Nov. 22 - After an illness of a short duration, Thomas Ridge, husband of the late Mary Holely, and well-known Preston resident, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, today. Mr. Ridge was born in England and came to Canada 31 years ago, coming directly to Preston. He resided here ever since. He was employed by the Galt Brass Company, for 25 years and has since lived retired. He was a member of the Baptist Church and is survived by one son, Joseph R. Ridge of Preston, three daughters, Mrs. Stanley Lucas and Mrs. John Speckeen of Preston, Mrs. A. Corbett of England; one sister, Mrs. Walter Antes of England; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The remains were removed from the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home yesterday to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Stanley Lucas, 163 Kress Hill, where the funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
