  John Paterson PRESTON - John Paterson, 74, 140 Waterloo St., South, died here Wednesday. He had lived in Preston over 50 years. He was a draftsman at Canadian Office and School Furniture Ltd., until his retirement in 1959. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Surviving is one son, Harold of Burlington and two grandchildren; and one brother and one sister in Scotland. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Helen MacGregor, in 1959. The body is at Stager-Barthel Funeral Home where service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Cemetery. Rev. A. H. Vair of Knox Presbyterian Church will officiate.
