  JACOB KIRCHHOFER. PEMBROKE, Dec. 27. (Staff) Jacob Kirchhofer, resident of this district for the past three years, died at the home of his son. Rev. J. L. Kirchhofer, Petawawa Township, Wednesday night He was 73 years of age. Native of Germany, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mr. Jacob Kirchhofer. He came to Canada 47 years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M. Palfrey, of Carleton Place, and Mrs. M. Marsden, of Montreal; and his son, with whom he made his home. Following services at St. John's Lutheran Church, Wednesday, the body, left by train for Hespeler, Ont, where interment will be made.
