  JOHN F. HODGKISS PRESTON, Sept. 24. The funeral of the late John F. Hodgkiss who died here Wednesday night, will be held from his residence on Waterloo street, Saturday afternom at 1.30 o'clock. Following services, the remains, will be interred in Preston Cemetery. The late Mr. Hodgkiss was born in Staffordshire, Eng. He came to Canada 31 years ago and was employed at the George Pattinson plant since coming here. The deceased who was in his 70th year, was a member of the United church and of the Sons of England. Besides his wife, one daughter, Edna, at home, two brothers, Benjamin of Wainwright, Alberta and Samuel of Preston and two sister in England, survive. Kitchener Daily Record 24 Sep 1937 pg 19
