  Harold Stanley SCHLUETER SCHLUETER, Harold Stanley Peacefully passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Atlantis, Florida, at the age of 90. Cherished and beloved husband of Mary (nee: Dolotowitz) of 65 years. Loving father and mentor of Dennis and his wife Paula. Loving and inspirational grandpa of Amy Schlueter and husband Stephen Heron, Kelly Schlueter and husband Jake Thomas. Proud great-grandpa to Wyatt, Jackson, Lucy, Emma and Xavier. He will be sadly missed by Lyndsay, Jonathan, Paul, Lauren, Michael, Van and Violet. Harold will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Linwood on September 6, 1925, he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Ida (nee: Shantz) Schlueter and he is the youngest and last survivor of eight siblings. Harold was a prominent and well respected member of the Kitchener Waterloo business community. He started in the used car business in 1946 and was the founder of the Schlueter Automotive Group, which included Schlueter Chevrolet, Schlueter Hyundai, and Schlueter Acura. He was a past president of the KW Automobile Dealers Association and was a long time member of the Westmount Golf and Country Club, Knights of Columbus- Waterloo Council, Probus and long time parishioner of St. Agnes RC Church. Harold's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 3: 30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes R.C. Church (75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo) on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10: 45 a.m. with Fr. Tom Vermiglio officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation - Camp Dorset - funding kids on dialysis to go to camp or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
