  A SAD BEREAVEMENT The news of the sad death of the little daughter of Dr. Sylvester, which occurred at Lindsay on Thursday last, struck a chord of sympathy in many hearts in Galt. Some three weeks ago Mrs. Sylvester and her three children went to Lindsay to visit friends and on Sunday 26th ult., Dr. Sylvester was summoned by telegram to the bedside of his second daughter, Mina Evelyn, who was considered in a dangerous condition. It is needless to say that everything possible was done to relieve the little sufferer, but all to no avail, as the young life was ended on Thursday afternoon. The remains were brought back to the home which she had left in the best of health and youthful spirits only a short time, before and interred, in Trinity cemetery, on Saturday morning, last.
