    • SCHLUETER, Claudine Elizabeth (nee Atto)

      Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, Claudine Schlueter of R.R.#4 Bright and formerly of Waterloo, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Schlueter (June 18, 1985). Loving mother of Maryann and husband Glenn Irwin of Washington, ON and Claudia and husband Aron Gagnon of Linden, Michigan. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ellie, Janet, JamieAnn, Walter, Kenneth and Alex, Colin, Patrick and Rachel. Survived by her sisters Winifred Wolfe of Carpentersville, Illinois, Mary Jean and husband Ralph Lee of Kitchener and by sister-in-law Melva Atto of Hamilton. Predeceased by her first husband Calvin Boyd Witmer (March 20, 1953), by infant grandson Martin, sister Patricia and husband Walter Randerson, brothers Jack Atto, Claude and wife Margaret Atto and brother-in-law Robert Wolfe. Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St. Plattsville on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2: 00 p.m. Spring interment of cremated remains in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peace United Church, St. Mary's Hospital or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
