  Preston Industrialist, C. M. Iredale Dies PRESTON - Charles M. Iredale, 79, chairman of the board of Vulcan Varieties Corporation and former president of Canada Last Co. Ltd., died today at his home at 420 William St. He was a past grand master ofthe Independent Order of Odd Fellows, a former Preston alderman and former chairman of the Preston parks board on which he served 12 years. Mr. Iredale was a past president of the Shoe Industries Suppliers Association and the Ontario Lawn Bowling Association and a member of the Preston Lawn Bowling Club, Galt Curling Club, Commercial Travellers Association, Cambridge Lodge, Victoria encampment, Queen Rebekah Lodge and St. Paul's United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Mann: one son, Donald of Woodstock: three; daughters, Dorothy and Mrs. William (Alice) Blake, both of Preston and Mrs. Kieth (Ruth) Hymmen of Kitchener: one brother, Arnold of Montreal: one sister, Mrs. Arthur (Veta) Glasier of Long Beach, Cal., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home until Sunday noon, when removal will be made to St. Paul's United Church, for the funeral at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Preston cemetery.
