  James Pearson The death, of James Pearson, occurred late yesterday at his home on Hexan street after an illness of only one week. He was in his 64th year and his death thererfore was quite unexpected. He was recording secretary of the Canadian Order of Foresters and was also a member of the L.O.L. He was the proprietor of a service station in Galt and also worked at Pattinson, Preston. He was born in Yorkshire, England but came to Canada more than 30 years ago. He lived in Preston with his wife for the past 17 years. He was married to Mrs Charles Allan of Leeds, England. He is survived by his sorrowing widow, two daughters, May of Galt and Maude of Toronto and two brothers, Albert of Montreal and William of Behornis, Que. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2.30 from St. John's Anglican church, to the Preston cemetery for Interment. Kitchener Daily Record 7 dec 1927 pg 3
