  SCHWEITZER, Leland H. - At Kathleen Scott Pavilion, Kitchener, on Sunday, Nov. 15, 1987, after a lengthy illness, Leland Howard Schweitzer, of 73 Dorsett St., Waterloo, aged 73 years. Leland was a member of Bridgeport United Church, where he had been organist and choir director for 47 years, retiring in 1985; he was the organist for Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home for 15 years: he was past president and a charter member of the Canadian College of organists; he was past president of the Waterloo Horticultural Society. He had been employed for Golding Business Machines until his retirement in 1973. Beloved husband of the former Laoma Haas: uncle of Mrs. Carol (Roedding) Wilkinson and her hus band Rev. W G. Wilkinson; brother- in-law of Mr and Mrs. Wilfrid Roedding: cousin of Mrs. Ella Keyes, Mrs. Eileen Miller. Mrs. Luella Hopkins and Miss Grace Ahrens. Prede- ceased by his parents. Aaron Schweitzer and Sadie Ahrens. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, after 7 pm this evening (Monday), until noon on Wednesday, when removal will be made to Bridgeport United Church, where the funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with Rev.
