      PRESTON. Feb 9 - Well known Preston resident for more than 40 years. John Albert Marshall died suddenly at 3 o'clock this morning from a heart attack. In his 68th year, he was apparently in good health last night and his sudden passing came as a distinct shock to many friends in the community. Born in Doon, Mr. Marshall lived there until as a young man he came to Preston. For the past 40 years he had been employed with Clare Bros., as a machinist. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. His wife predeceased him seven years ago and he is survived by one daugher, Mrs. Nelson Gehman, Preston; one sister, Mrs. Oscar Thaler, Kitchener and a grand son, David Gehman, Preston. The remains will rest at Stager-Pass Funeral Home until Thursday at 4.30 p.m., than at the residence, 443 Hamilton Street, from where the, funeral will take place on Saturday, at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
