  MRS. ED. H. SCHMIDT NEW HAMBURG, May 25— Mrs. Ed. H. Schmidt, Jacob street, passed away at her home here this morning. She had been in ill health for some time and was in her 62nd year. She was a member of the Evangelical church, the Ladies Aid Society, and treasurer of the Mission Circle. She was born in Nithburg in February, 1876. Surviving is her husband, one daugter, Erma, at home, four brothers, Eli and Adam Gable, New Hamburg, William and Edwin Gable, Kitchener. Two sisters predeceased her a short time ago. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon with a private service at the home at 2 o'clock and thence to the Evangelical church for public service at 2.30.
