      PRESTON, June 2— Lifelong, well-known resident of Preston, Miss Margaretha Seyffert, died at the Galt General Hospital at 8: 30 yesterday morning at the age of 78 years. Miss Seyffert suffered a stroke two weeks ago, being confined to hospital since that time. Born in Preston, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Seyffert, she resided here all her life. For many years years she was employed at Pattinson Woollen Mill as a weaver. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Miss Seyffert was a member of the Ladies Aid and Missionary Society of that church. Surviving is a sister, Rose Seyffert of Preston and a number of nephews and nieces. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held on Tuesday at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
