  AMENT, Ruby Marie Passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at her residence, Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. She was formerly of Linwood and was born 97 years ago in Wilmot Township. A daughter of the late Walter and Pheobe (Snyder) Hofstetter. Beloved wife of the late William (Dutch) Ament who predeceased her in 1987. Loving mother of Joyce and Alan Barrass of Toronto, June Fritz of Waterloo, Jeanet and Tom Martin of Linwood, Bill and Patricia Ament of Waterloo and Keith and Ellen Ament of R.R. # 3 Listowel. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Harry Hofstetter, Layton and Helen Hofstetter all of Plattsville, John Hofstetter, Jean Ross both of Woodstock and Reid and Eva Hofstetter of Waterloo. Ruby was predeceased by son-in-law Harold Fritz, 3 grandchildren, brothers Harold, Floyd, Glenn, Earl in infancy, sisters Marjorie Littlejohns and Helen Hofstetter. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will take place on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home at 11: 00 a.m., with Pastor Elaine Graham officiating. Interment in Linwood Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruby's memory may be made to Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton.
