  ROSS, Jean With her loving family by her side at Sakura House, Woodstock on Saturday, October 26, 2013, Jean Isabel (nee Hofstetter) Ross of Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late C. Gilbert Ross (1990). Dear sister to Layton (Helen) Hofstetter, Reid (Eva) Hofstetter, sister-in-law to Jane McKay (Clark) Adams and Bernice Ross. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Phoebe (nee Snyder) Hofstetter; siblings, Harold (Melinda), Floyd (Edith), Ruby (Floyd) Ament, Harry (Reta), Earl, Marjory (Allen) Littlejohns, Helen, John (Reta) (Margaret), Glenn (LaVelda) and by her brothers-in-law Donald Ross and Edgar McKay. Jean was a kind, caring and a very generous person. She was happiest doing for and giving to others. Family was always important and she felt blessed to have so many nieces and nephews to love and enjoy. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10-11 a.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in the Innerkip Cemetery.
