Son of the late George Schaaf and the former Elizabeth Fahrenkopf. Husband of Margaret Schaaf (nee Campbell) of Kitchener; father of Bernice Schilling and her husband Donald of Hanover and Dorothy Ellis and her husband Leonard of Kitchener; brother of Mrs. Mabel Walmsley and Mrs. Irene Hertzberger, both of Kitchener. Also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one daughter, Marion De Jong; one sister and two brothers.
