      Mrs. Menno Devitt

      Mrs. Menno Devitt, 2 Bellevue avenue passed away last night at her late home after an illness of about four days. Mrs. Devitt was over 70 years of age. She was born in Zion, near Heapsler, but has resided in Waterloo, practically all her life and was a member of the First United church. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, Hilda and Essie at home, Bertha of Boston and Mrs. (Dr.) R. H. Wing, Guelph, two sons, Stanley and Leroy at home, three brothers, S. Sauder, Kitchener, J. Sauder, Breslau and Sam Sauder, Chicago, three sisters, Mrs. Thos. Hilliard, Waterloo, Mrs. Thos. Vickerman, Speedsville and Mrs. A. Brown, formerly of Hamiton. The funeral will be private, held on Wednesday at 2.30 from the family residence. Interment will be made at Mount Hope Cemetery.
