- Mrs. Elizabeth Meyer
Taken by illness only a few days after her arrival here on a visit to relatives last June, Mrs. Elizabeth Meyer of Buffalo, passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. Jacobi, of Lexington. Born in Waterloo, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Reichert, Mrs. Meyer was 80 years of age. After her marriage she had moved to Buffalo where she had resided for over fifty years. Her husband, 2 sons and 3 daughters predeceased her. Surviving are two brothers, William of Waterloo and Jacob of Bamberg, 2 sisters, Mrs. J. F. Ott of Floradale and Mrs. William Golbeck of Bamberg; also 4 grandchildren. The remains will be resting at the Letter & Dreisinger Funeral Home until Sunday morning when they will be taken to the home of Herman Jacobi, near Lexington, where there will be a funeral service at three o'clock in the afternoon. Remains will then be taken to Buffalo for interment.
