  MRS. GEORGE C. SCHMIDT WELLESLEY, Dec. 31 - Mrs. George C. Schmidt, 82, widow of the late George Schmidt, died suddenly this morning at the home of her son, Frederick, west of Wellesley. She was formerly Miss Magdalena Seegmiller, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Seemiller. Her mother was the former Miss Mary Yost. Mrs. Schmidt was born Sept 11, 1861, in North Easthope Township. She attended the Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg and was a member of the Ladles' Aid of that church. Surviving are one son, Frederick, two brothers, Frederick of New Hamburg and Daniel of Kitchener and two sisters, Mrs. Conrad Kneisel, Lisbon and Mrs. George Hartung, Tavistock. One son and two daughters predeceased her. Public funeral services will be held from the home of her son on Monday at 3 o'clock to the Zion Church at 2 p m. Rev. Mr. Frederickson will officiate. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Remains are resting in the Futher Funeral Home, until Sunday at 2 o'clock, when removal will be made to the home.
