      PRESTON, Nov. 10— A lifelong resident of Preston, John Grobe, 54, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, yesterday. Mr. Grobe had been a patient at the hospital at intervals during the past year. He was employed with the Canadian Office and School Furniture Limited for 36 years in the capacity of furniture finisher, but, owing to ill health, had been unable to pursue his occupation for the past seven years. Deceased was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Simons and a brother, William Grobe, of Preston. The remains are at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home, 306 Dover street, Preston, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be made in Preston Cemetery.
