- MRS. GEORGE CHERRY
PRESTON, Jan. 7 - Mrs. George A. Cherry, a lifetime resident of this community, passed away today. She had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill three weeks. Born in Preston, her maiden name was Wilhelmine Herman. She was an adherent of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and active in its organizations. A member of the Ladies Aid she also held a life member in the Mission Society. Besides her husband. the deceased lady is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Stuart (Ida) Robertson, Preston; three brothers, John, William and Charles, Preston: and one sister. Mrs. J. C. Allemang. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home in Preston until six p.m., Saturday, when they will be removed to 126 King Street. The funeral will be held from this residence at 2: 30 p.m., Monday. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
