  MEISTER, Elmer C. Of 376 Grandview Rd., Cambridge Preston; in Galt, on Jan. 11, 1973, Elmer C. Meister, beloved husband of Maud Eidt; dear father of Willard of Timmins, Eleanor (Mrs. Clif J. Taylor) of Galt Cambridge; in his 70th year; also survived by two brothers, Alvin of Toronto and Orlando of Kitchener; three grandchildren. Mr. Meister was born in Tonawanda, N.Y. and had lived in Preston for the last 45 years, coming here from Hanover. He owned and operated the Gore service station on King St., Preston, for many years, latterly he was employed with J. Wilson and Sons of Galt; former member of the Preston Parks Board; member of St. Paul's United Church and Preston Cambridge IOOF Lodge. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queen and Argyle Sts., Preston, until Sunday noon, thence to St. Paul's United Church, for funeral and committal service, at 3 p.m. Interment in Preston cemetery.
