    • Mrs. John Grieve

      PRESTON— Mrs. John Grieve, 83, of 330 Wellington St. N., Preston, died at her home today. Mrs. Grieve was the former Minnie Kirschke and was born in Germany. She had resided in Preston for more than 60 years. Prior to that she lived in Hespeler and Plattsville. She was one of the first members of Preston Baptist Church and had been active in all church organizations during her lifetime. She was predeceased by her husband, John Grieve, a former mayor of Preston, who died in April, 1963. Surviving is one son, Sylvester of Milton: two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Eileen) Elhing of Preston and Mrs. Edgar (Gizella) Clemens of Los Angeles, Calif ; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Friday then at Preston Baptist Church for the funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment will he in Preston cemetery.
