- Dodson, Eva A. - At the Hilltop Manor, Cambridge, on Monday, July 20, 1981, Eva A. Harvey, wife of the late Walter G. Dodson formerly of Sherring Street, Cambridge (P), in her 97th year. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. James Hall (Ellen) of Lindsay, Ont., and a son Harvey of New Dundee; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, a brother, a sister and a grandson. Mrs. Dodson was born in Essex, England and came to Canada in 1911 to Barrie, Ont., before moving to Preston in 1920. A member of St. John's Anglican Church and of the Queen Rebeca Lodge, Cambridge. In the lodge she was awarded the Declaration of Chivalry and was a member of the Past Noble Grand Club. She rested at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge. Funeral services were held Wednesday 2 pm. Interment was in Preston Cemetery.
