    • John Gaeler, 88, of 449 Wellington St., died today at his home.

      Born in Lexington, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Gaeler. He formerly worked as a furniture finisher for Krug Furniture Company, Ltd., and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Canad- ian Order of Foresters.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Kalbfleisch; two sons, George of Bridgeport and Alvin of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Ina) Degen of Kitchener and Miss Vera Gaeler at home; one brother, Martin of Chesley, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Rau of Windsor. One brother, Henry, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Huehnergard, predeceased him.

      The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home, where services will be conducted by Rev. A. W. Lotz at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
