- Frederick Pelz - PRESTON, Oct. 11, Clearly identified with municipal life in Preston, for many years. Frederick Otto Pelz, died today at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, at the ageof 74 years. Mr. Pelz was a former mayor of Preston and served as chairman of the Water and Light Commision, now the Preston Public Commision, for 12 years. He was a member of the commission at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, the former Martha Maud Doyle and two sons, Ralph and Arthur, both of Michigan. The funeral will be held at St. Paul'sUnited Church, Saturday, at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home.
