  SCHREIBER - Caroline F, beloved wife of Valentine J Schreiber, passed away Sunday in her 65.h year. Several weeks ago Mrs Schreiber suffered a stroke of apoplexy and had been in poor health ever since. Deceased was born in Preston, Ont., August 7, 1839, and had lived in Buffalo 40 years and for 35 years in the same house in Black Rock. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss four sons, Dean, Julius A (deputy city attorney), George W and Edwin R Schreiber, three daughters, Misses Lena E, Ida L and Amanda A Schreiber, and three brothers, John Bittmann of Gault, Ont., Fred Bittmann of Preston, Ont., and Cuarles Bittmann of Sault St Marie. Funeral services were held at the family residence, 223 Amherst street, Tuesday. Rev N W Stanton officiating. Interment was in the family lot at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The goodwill and esteem io which the deceased lady was held was shown by the beautiful floral pieces and lovely flowers senbt by her many friends, which completely covered the casketand adorned the room.
