- MRS. ROLAND SCHERRER
A former resident of Kitchener, Mrs. Roland Scherrer, nee Olive Dietrich, died at Detroit today following an illness of a year. She was 49 years old. Mrs. Scherrer, who was born in Kitchener, went to Detroit, at the time of her marriage, 28 years ago. She formerly attended St. Mary's R.C. Church here. Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Anthony Patrick, Detroit; two sons, Roland, Detroit, and Pte. Reinhold Scherrer, Fort Benning, Ga.; her father Simon Dietrich, Kitchener; two sisters, Rose, and Mrs. Lorne Petch, both of Kitchener. Two grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held Friday from her home, 7345 Ellsworth Avenue, Detroit. Interment will be at Detroit.
