    • Charles Lehmann, one of Oconomowoc's most respected citizens, died at his home on Silver Lake street on Tuesday, July 12. Mr. Lehmann was born in Brunswick, near: Kiel, Germany, on May 1, 1836, and in 1846 he, with his parents, moved to Preston, Canada, and later to Shakespeare, Canada. On October 19, 1882, Mr. Lehmann and family cameto Oconomowoc, where he entered the mercantile business with his son, retiring from this to enter the poultry raising industry in October of 1891. About a year ago he gave up this business on account of falling health. He is survived by a wife, two sons and three daughters, Gustav, of Las Vegas, N. M.; Mrs. W. W.. Kellogg, of Silver Lake, Wis., and Louis J. Lehmann, Mrs. F. G. Foss and Miss Elizabeth Lehmann, residing in A sister, Miss Mary Lehmann of Preston, Canada, is also left to mourn his death. The funeral services were held at the residence on Thursday afternoon with burial In La Belle cemetery.
