  HARPER, Dr. Howard At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Monday, Dec. 1, 1980, Dr. Howard Harper, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Viola Ewald of 2116 Coronation Blvd., Cambridge. Dear father of Joanne (Mrs. James Truckle) of Brantford and Richard of Cambridge. Dr. Harper was born in New Dundee and had practised dentistry in Preston 55 years, retiring five years ago. Member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Preston-Hespeler Rotary Club; also the Galt Country Golf and Curling Club. He is survived by two brothers, Stanley of Novelton and Thomas of Claremont. Predeceased by two sisters. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment in Preston cemetery.
