- Mrs. Edith Fouse
PRESTON, Mrs. Edith Fouse, 77, of 711 Hamilton St., Preston, widow of Charles Fouse, died suddenly Wednesday, in St. Petersburg, Fla., where she had been vacationing for the past few months. Mrs. Fouse was born at Warren, Ohio and had resided in Preston since 1941. Prior to that she had lived in Toronto, for 29 years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church and was active in the local Senior Citizens group. She was the former Edith Brobst. Mrs. Fouse was predeceased by her husband in 1950 and by a son, Mervin, in 1943. Surviving are three sons, Nevin, Bruce and William all of Preston, two brothers, Carl Brobst of Toronto and Bruce Brobst of Preston; one sister, Mrs. Lida Goeppinger, of Miami, Fla. and eight grandchildren, The body is at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, where the funeral will he conducted, Sunday, at 3: 15 p.m. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery. Rev. A. I. Waters of St. Paul's United Church will officiate.
