    • Mrs. R. J. Stiner

      Mrs. R. J. Stiner, of Preston passed away at her home, 200 Dover st., this morning shortly before 9 o'clock following an illness of only one week. Deceased who was born in Indiana, was in her 61st year. She had lived in Preston for about 58 years. The passing of the late Mrs. Stiner is the source of deep regret to her many friends and associates, by whom she was dearly loved. She was a valued member of the Women of Mooseheart Legion, Chapter 634, Kitchener, having been honored with the senior regency in January. Prior to that time she had acted as chaplain of the branch since its organization, 18 months ago. She is survived by her bereaved husband, two step daughters, Iva and Ethel at home, two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Fink of Preston and Miss Louisa Mangold of Hamilton. One brother, Conrad MangoId of the United States also survives. The funeral will be held from her late residence, 200 Dover st., on Monday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock where services will be conducted by Rev. Knauff, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Interment will made at the Preston cemetery.
