  Sandford Crombie PRESTON - Sandford (Sandy) Crombie, 35, of 751 Hamilton St. Preston, died suddenly Wednesday. Born in Moorefield, he lived in Preston for 12 years. A mechanic, he operated a garage in Preston. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Joanne Harper; two sons, Dean and Christopher; three daughters, Janet, Dale and Mary Ann at home; his mother, Mrs. Isabelle Brown of Bell, Calif. and one sister, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Rehkopf of Preston. The funeral will be conducted at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. J. S. Dauphinee of St. Peter's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will he in the Preston Cemetery.
