  MRS. FREDERICK J. STYAN PRESTON, Nov. 6 - After ailing for some years and critically ill for the past four weeks, Mrs. Frederick J. Styan, Preston resident for the past 20 years, died at the K-W Hospital at 8 o'clock last evening. She was in her 65th year. Born in Leeds, England, the deceased came to Canada in 1919, directly to Hespeler where she resided for four years, then moving to Preston where she had lived for the past 20 years, forming a large circle of friends. She was a member of the Christian Science Church, Galt. Surviving are her husband, Frederick John Styan, two daughters, Mrs. John Duncan, Preston and Mrs. Frank Hamilton, Guelph: five sisters, Mrs. Z. Garbutt, Preston, Mrs. J. Donovan, Culver City, Calif., Mrs. H. Sauder, Orillia: Mrs. Frank Cakebread, Hespeler, Mrs. H. Baldrey, Preston; five brothers, William Wells, Guelph; Harry Wells, Scott's Corners; Edward of Goderich, Charles of Detroit, and Herbert of Vancouver. Eight grandchildren also survive. The late Mrs. Styan is resting at her residence, 1154 Queen Street, Preston, from where the funeral will be held on Monday at 2: 30 with Interment in the Preston Cemetery.
