    • MRS. WILLIAM CURRIE

      PRESTON, Oct. 10. The death occurred at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, this morning of Alice Mosley, wife of William James Currie, a resident of Preston for the past ten years. Mrs. Currie was 82 years of age. She and Mr. Currie marked their 59th wedding anniversary June 24, this year. Mrs. Currie has been ill for the put three months and confined to hospital for the last three weeks. Born in Derbyshire, England, she was married at Gladstone, Man. and following their marriage, lived in Arden for many years, later moving to the Edians district and from there coming to Preston. Mrs. Currie was a member of the Moose Lodge, Galt, being the oldest member of the ladles' Moose Lodge in Ontario. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie McDougal, McGregor, Man., Miss Frances Grace Currie and Mrs. David Gowing, both of Preston; four sons, Andrew and George of Firdale, Man., Donald of Nepawin, Sask., and Frank of Armley, Sask.; one brother and one sister in England. Nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, also survive. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
