- Obituary
Brown City, March 14, Jacob L. Witmer, 71 years old, a resident of Brown City 53 years, died Saturday night at his home here. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Mennonite Brethern in Christ church with Rev. W. O. Cline officiating. Burial was in the Protestant cemetery.
Surviving are his widow and a sister Mrs.Robert Clements, both of Brown City. Mr. Witmer was born in Waterloo county, Ontario, Oct. 20, 1862, and came to vicinity in 1881. He married Miss Leah Rosenberger 24 years ago.
