      PRESTON, Sept. 8 - Well-known Preston resident for the past 24 years, Gladys May Wilson, wife of Richard Stanley Longmate, died at St. Marys Hospital, Kitchener, yesterday at the age of 46. Mrs. Longmate had been in failing health for the past year, seriously ill for the past week, and confined to hospital two days. Born near Orangeville, she resided in Orangeville and for three years in Hespeler. She had lived in Preston since her marriage at St. John's Anglican Church, Preston, Dec. 25, 1924. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Trudy Loreen, aged 16 months; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Gibson, Hamilton; Mrs. Alex Bradley, Preston and Mrs. Albert May of Orangeville, and three brothers, Garfield Wilson of Buffalo; William T. Wilson of Orangeville and Robert Wilson of Preston. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home. The funeral will take place at St. John's Anglican Church, Preston, Thursday at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
