  DIES FEW MILES FROM SONS HE WAS TO VISIT J. W. Dill of Toronto Going to Nelson Expires Near Fernie. (Special Dispatch to The Sun) FERNIE Sept. 21. J. W. Dill. 80 years of age, who has been assistant postmaster at the Parliament buildings in Toronto for nearly 2O years, died suddenly on the westbound train here today. The immediate cause of death was heard[sic] failure, though Mr. Dill had been in poor health for some time. He was accompanied by his wife and they were enroute to Nelson where two sons reside. The body was removed to undertaking parlors here and Mrs. Dill is staying with Mrs. Joseph Austin pending the arrival of the sons from Nelson. Two other sons reside at Enderby, one in Vancouver and one in Regina. A daughter lives in Toronto and another resides at Whidby[sic], Ontario.
