    • EDWARD ROOS IS LAID TO REST

      The funeral of the late Edward Roos took place this afternoon from his late residence 72 Church Street and was attended by a large company of sorrowing relatives and friends.

      After a service at the house conducted by the Rev. H. F. Schade of the Beaton Street Baptist Church the funeral proceeded to the Preston Cemetery, where interment was made.

      The pallbearers were: A. W. Merner, Herman Boehmer, W. Meinke, W. Byers, C. H. Gillespie and Geo. Boehmer.

      Many very beautiful floral offerings were received as a token of respect for the deceased and came from the following friends: Pillow from the children: spray of carnations from grandchildren: wreath from his brothers: spray of carnations from Mr. and Mrs. Emil Roos of Galt; spray of carnations from Mr. and Mrs. Andrich, Galt: spray of roses from the Nurses of Berlin and Waterloo: spray from Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Merner spray of carnations from Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Wright: spray o roses from Mr. and Mrs. John Kimmel spray carnations from: Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Pollock: spray of tulips from Mrs. H. L. and C. H. J spray of sweet peas is from Miss Minetta Boehmer: spray of roses from Mr. F. J. Rooney Waterloo: spray of roses from Mrs. Aug. Boehmer: spray of roses from Mr. and Mrs. Harry Boehmer, Italy: spray of roses from Mr. and Mrs. W. Meinke: spray of roses from spray of roses the Ladies' Aid of the Benton Street Baptist Church: spray of sweet peas and lilies of the valley from Mrs. John Guggisberg: wreath from friends in Wiarton: spray of roses from friends of Mrs. (Dr.) Kalbfleisch: spray of roses from Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roos.       After having his leg amputated Edward Roos, a manufacturer, of Berlin, contracted gangrene, and died after a three weeks' illness.
