Notes |
- Some time after Limpert closed his upper shop, Fred Coughlin worked away at the trade here and hereabouts and for a time was in the Army at London during the First Great War. The war over, he returned and opened a shop in the Henry Block. On the twenty-second day of March, 1920, Fred. Gilstorf, a barber from Mount Forest, bought out Charlie Bolduc and started in the lower shop. Fred. Coughlin bought the Jackall Building from Billie Sault and on May 24th, 1924, moved into the shop there from his location in the Henry Block and Fred moved from down below to the shop Coughlin vacated. That is, the two Freds changed places with one another.
