    • CANADIAN CONTRACTOR DIES OF SENILITY.

      The funeral of Philip Rudell, who died Saturday afternoon of old age at the residence of his sister, Mrs. C. H. Hunt, 854 East Main street, was held yesterday at 2:30 o'clock.

      The burial was in Eastern cemetery. Mr. Rudell had been a resident of this city for about nine years. was born in Germany and came to this country when a young man. For fifty years he was engaged in Canada as a contractor and builder.

      He leaves seven children. four boys and three girls. They are, William Rudell, of Canada; C. J. Rudell, of Buffalo, N. Y.; Dr. J. F.. Rudell of Louisville: Robert Rudell, of New York; Mrs. Robert Snowball, of Canada, Mrs. R. E. Pepper, of Chicago, and Mrs. C. H. Hunt, with whom he lived while in this city.
