  Mrs. Michael Parniak PRESTON, Mrs. Sophia Parniak, 606 Hamilton St., died Thursday, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton. The former Sophia Sebastian, Mrs. Parniak was born in Austria. She had resided in Preston for 60 years. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church and the Catholic Women's League. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 1945. Surviving are one son, Peter of Guelph: four daughters. Mrs. Nicholas (Mary) Tessman and Bernice Parniak both of Preston, Mrs. Valerie Kinzie of Detroit and Mrs. F. A. (Vicki) Olivier of Hamilton: one brother, Frank, of Dundas: two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dubeck of Preston and Mrs. Antoinett Harsonoff of Kitchener and 20 grandchildren. The body will be at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, until Saturday morning, when removal will be made to St. Clement's church for requiem mass, at 10 a.m. Committal service will be at Preston Park Lawn chapel.
