  SCHMALZ, Helen P.- Of Queenston Road, Cambridge on Friday March 22, 1996 at her residence in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald J. Schmalz (1959), dear mother of Daniel (Christine), Gerry (Virginia), Jeffrey (Stacy), Peggy Martin and Drew Martin, and Mary (Les) Iharosy, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, Danny, Timmy, Toby, Ben, Jeremy, and Madison Schmalz, Summer, Maggie, Quinn and Jordan Martin, Josh and Ashley lharosy, and 1 sister Margaret Holtz of Cambridge. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Ida Daly, 1 brother Elgie, and 1 sister Marie. Mrs. Schmalz was born in St. Marys and came to Preston in 1940, retiring from Babcock-Wilcox in 1984. She was a member of St. Clements Parish and the C.W.L. The family will receive friends at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Sunday from 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clements R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Monday, March 25, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Clements Cemetery, Cambridge. Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
