    • Mrs. Walter Krieger

      PRESTON, Mrs. Walter Krieger, 39, of 337 King St., died Saturday, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. Mrs. Krieger had been in hospital one day for observation. She was the former Violet Dubeck and was born at Detroit. She came to Preston, as a child. Mrs. Krieger was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, the Catholic Women's League and Altar Society. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Dubeck and one daughter, Catherine; three brothers, Joseph, Edward, and Gerald, all of Preston; three sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Sophie) Onorato, Mrs. Alfred (Clara) Duncan and Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Mertz, all of Preston. The body will be at the Maurice J. O'Brien Funeral Home until Wednesday, at 9: 30 a.m. Requiem mass will be said at St. Clement's Church, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. Commital service, will follow at Park Lawn Memorial chapel and burial will be in St. Clement's RC Cemetery.
