  Mrs. E. T. Yates PRESTON - Mrs. Elzear T. Yates, 63, 524 Hamilton St., died today in South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt. She had a heart attack Sunday in church and was in hospital two days. Well known here, she was the former Edith MacGregor. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and came to Preston from there in 1922. She was a member of St Clement's RC Church. Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Carney of Preston; Mrs Brian (Jean) O'Neill of Montreal, and Rita at home; a sister, Mrs. John Paterson of Preston and three grandchildren. The body will be at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home until the service at St. Clement's RC Church Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the RC cemetery. Member of the Catholic Women's League and the Altar Society will recite the rosary at the funeral home Thursday at 3 p.m., and the Knights of Columbus will meet there at 6 p.m. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 5 Feb 1958 pg 5
